My business paypal account which was dormant for years and i even forgot about just got limited yesterday. I think paypal is doing checks about the new $600 irs limits. The name and address were stealth but I put my Real (sole mbr) EIN.
Now they are asking for Proof of business address AND provide your business information.

All I have is IRS Letter Cp575, Employer Identification Number (Ein) Confirmation Letter, BUT its in My real name and my real address.

Does paypal check if I the name on the irs letter? Also can they see if the name doesnt actually belong to the EIN number?

They could use your EIN number and verify it on IRS site/

Proof of address - Use utility bill like water, electricity or phone bill. Name and address on it should match your pp info. Be creative about it tho.

For the business information. Fill it appropriately with what you have in your pp business information.

It'll have to match.

They could soft limit you or flag your account for it.

So I wouldn't risk it . Do it right from the get go
